The Google Workspace tool enables users to display email, events, and documents from Google Workspace through a widget on their Brightspace Learning Environment homepage. Users can also submit Google documents to an assignment and to Brightspace ePortfolio.
As an administrator, you can manage the link between a Google account and any Brightspace Learning Environment user account. You can connect a Google account to a Brightspace Learning Environment user, if your organization has preexisting Google accounts. If your organization does not have preexisting Google accounts, you can use Brightspace Learning Environment to create them. You can also remove links between Google accounts and Brightspace Learning Environment user accounts.
Note: Google Workspace 1.3 does not support @gmail.com addresses at this time. It requires the use of a Business or Educational Google Workspace domain.
