Add closed captions with the Producer tool
After you publish a CaptureCast presentation to Brightspace Capture Portal or Brightspace Capture Central, you can add closed captions to provide users the option to view your presentation with an audio transcription.
- In Brightspace Capture Portal or Brightspace Capture Central, on the Admin tab, in the Manage Content area, in the ON-DEMAND section, click Manage Presentations.
- Beside the presentation you want to edit, click the
Open in Producer icon.
- Click the Closed Captions tab.
- In the Caption text... field enter your caption and click the
Add new item icon. The text displays in your closed captions list.
- To adjust when the caption appears in the presentation, click the
Time to seek position icon.
- Click Save.
