Add closed captions with the Producer tool

After you publish a CaptureCast presentation to Brightspace Capture Portal or Brightspace Capture Central, you can add closed captions to provide users the option to view your presentation with an audio transcription.

  1. In Brightspace Capture Portal or Brightspace Capture Central, on the Admin tab, in the Manage Content area, in the ON-DEMAND section, click Manage Presentations.
  2. Beside the presentation you want to edit, click the  Open in Producer icon.
  3. Click the Closed Captions tab.
  4. In the Caption text... field enter your caption and click the Add a new item Add new item icon. The text displays in your closed captions list.
  5. To adjust when the caption appears in the presentation, click the  Time to seek position icon.
  6. Click Save.
